Citation Firewall

The wedge

If it can't cite its source, it doesn't ship.

Every rendered output resolves to a citation anchor on a raw source. Outputs that can't be verified are dropped, never shown.

All capabilities

Every rendered output in Trovato — an answer, a Matter Wiki entry, a review cell, a lint finding, an amendment, a draft segment, a workflow artifact — resolves to a citation anchor on a raw source. Outputs whose citations can't be verified are dropped, never shown.

01

Anchored to the source

Fuzzy matching ties each claim to the exact passage in the underlying document, then highlights it on click-through.

02

Verified or dropped

If an output can't be resolved to a source it doesn't render. There is no “trust me” state to fall back on.

03

Evidence-first interface

Inline citations, a hover preview, and a document drawer that opens to the highlighted passage.

04

Provenance everywhere

The same guarantee covers review cells, wiki entries, amendments and workflow outputs — not just chat answers.

The found line

Open any claim. Land on the passage.

Agent conclusion

The Seller's aggregate liability for breach of warranty is capped at 15% of the purchase price1, and any Warranty Claim must be notified within 18 months of Completion.

SourceDOC-4471 · SPA

Subject to paragraph 7.1, the aggregate liability of the Seller in respect of all Warranty Claims shall not exceed fifteen per cent (15%) of the Purchase Price (such amount being the Liability Cap).

How it fits the matter

Because provenance is enforced at render time, a partner can sign off knowing every line traces back to something they can open.
